The wall spreads over 4000 miles and is the longest man made structure. It is the only structure visible from the moon. 2. Christ the Redeemer Statue, Rio de Janeiro – Brazil Christ the Redeemer statue stands on the Corcovado mountain as an inspiring icon to the Brazilians since 1931. 130 foot tall made of reinforced concrete and soapstone, this statue was designed by Heitor DaSilva Costa. The approximate cost to build this mammoth was $250,000. 3. Machu Picchu, Peru Machu Picchu is the Spanish name to “Old Peak” built in 15th Century located in Cusco region, Peru. Also known as “The Lost City of Incas”, the site is a sacred archaeological center re-discovered by historian Hiram Bingham.
