Do you know what #OSINT is and how it affects you? Recently we heard about how the #government (e.g.: bit.ly/1B4N64H) scans social media and how the police (e.g.: wapo.st/1B5GsLo) look for potential threats in S.M. accounts, but do you really know how that works? Open-source intelligence (OSINT) is #intelligence collected from publicly available sources. In the intelligence community (#IC), the term open refers to overt, publicly available sources (as opposed to covert or clandestine sources); it is not related to open-source software or public intelligence. In other words, they DONT need a #warrant to search your account and can do so without hacking--and this can include your stereotypical letter agencies like the #CIA and #NSA, but can also include YOUR BOSS, other agencies you may or may not know exist, the military, and foreign nations who may or may not like what you have to say. They can see your information on Facebook through what you publically post OR through an account you add as a friend that you may think is #legit. Weve seen more than a few of these with #MarkKessler and even amongst #Anonymous members. Now, you may think that youll skirt these by going to other websites, like Seen.is, Informed Planet, Tsu, or Babu, but unfortunately, this is not the case. In fact, OSINT especially LOVES Seen.is and Informed Planet because that makes their job a whole lot easier (weve included screenshots of how this works, with an explanation below). Now, I know that these websites have extensive policies about privacy and not giving in on those policies, but remember: when the government doesnt need a warrant to get something, those policies become obsolete. And for those out there who are really good legal analysts, let me remind you of two things: 1) Since when has saying no meant anything to criminals? 2) Ever hear of the NDAA & the Patriot Act? Yeah they find loopholes in that. Theres a reason the #USGovernment labeled #Anonymous as a terrorist organization. ** Also, be aware that if you have any friends or family that are currently in govt/govt-contractor jobs (and some military jobs), its REALLY easy for their bosses to see what you post, also putting you in harms way potentially. Not everyone plays nicely, after all. ** So...on to the explanation of the screenshots. For #InformedPlanet: Screenshots 1 & 2 are an example of what you can see with an account of the news feed and a friends profile--which is what OSINT could see (yes, they love getting accounts and seeing exactly what you see and no they dont need a warrant for it). Screenshot 3 is what it looks like without a profile. Yes thats SOME security but really nothing when you consider what OSINT can do. Screenshot 4 is an example of what you can see of someones profile who is NOT on your friends list--something else to be weary of with OSINT. Seen.Is Screenshot 5 is what Seen.Is looks like to the public eye (no account). Again, thats good and all, BUT, again ...really nothing when you consider what OSINT can do. Screenshot 6 is what the look for friends section looks like. OSINT will look for potential targets this way. Screenshot 7 & 8 are what it looks like with an account of the news feed and the forums--AGAIN, which is what OSINT could see (yes, they love getting accounts and seeing exactly what you see and, AGAIN, no they dont need a warrant for it). Screenshot 9 is what you SHOULD do to your account on Seen. Is, but again, please be aware that all it takes is for OSINT to add you as a friend in order to see what youre posting. Screenshot 10 is what a group looks like. NOTICE that you can post to the group without actually joining...and that you can also see what anyone else posted without joining. Screenshot 11 is where you can see the group members and what they stand for without joining. If you can see it, do you not realize OSINT can too? Screenshot 12 is what the profile of someone who is NOT on your friends-list looks like. AGAIN, if YOU can see this, then OSINT can too. Screenshot 13 shows that you can see anyones wall-post photo, wither youre friends with them or not. See a trend here? Something else on the Seen.Is website itself is bit.ly/1GZqK8s #Tsu: Tsu is just a headache to begin with. If youre foolish enough to fall for the you can make money from home! scam theyre selling, then you should think long and hard about how youre even attempting to make money off of Anonymous name. Pretty sure thats been a big no-no for a long time..right? Heres some of why Tsu is such a bad idea: bit.ly/1B832mt & bit.ly/1x82IpJ explain it really well. PLEASE understand that OSINT can, in fact, find you anywhere at anytime. When you go on a social media page, they can find a way to see what you post. Were not telling you this to make you paranoid or make you feel bad about the choices you have made, but because we want to keep YOU safe from a very corrupt government. We have had reports from insiders that OSINT is planning a massive overhaul very soon and that something (not related to the UN Treaty) is going to happen in the near future that will greatly impact how much reach they are given. They have managed to infiltrate some of the most complex Anonymous and Militia teams that ever existed and they continue to work through accounts that some of you trust with your lives. Those of you who post critical information on #SocialMedia websites...dont. Learn about and consider using #deepweb or other sources of communication. OSINT is just the edge of what our government is capable of doing. And always, please #Anonymous, be careful. *Anon360*
