Do you know you can be the righteousness of God and not be righteous? Being the righteousness of God is a gift based on what Jesus did but being righteous is about living by the principles of God, living like God and getting the kind of results He gets. This is why Nigerian Christian has no impact on the society apart from the loud noise that blares out from speakers and traffic that results after Sunday service. To be righteous is to allow your faith to impact and be relevant to the society. People we call sinners are more righteous in obeying Gods precept than most Christians are. Dont depend on the gift of righteousness, be righteous. Even sinners have been given the gift of righteousness and once the accept it with their sins, they become the righteousness of God but by their act they are not righteous. When the righteous are in authority the nation prospers. Lets become righteous and impact our nation.
