Do you love food and travel?? Foodies will be flocking to Dubai next month for the Dubai Food Festival. It runs from February 21 to March 15 and experiences from the festival will be preserved on the city’s recently launched online museum. The city has created an online museum that aims to allow residents and visitors to be part of creating “the world’s first autobiography of a city”. People are invited to share compelling moments of their lives during 2014, with images, videos and stories by using the hashtag #MyDubai. The Dubai Food Festival is set to feature a wide range of food-related activities, tastings, offers and events throughout the 23-day period, showcasing the Emirate’s diverse food offering and drawing from the cuisines of more than 200 nationalities. Planned to become an annual event in Dubai’s calendar, the festival will enhance the city’s position as the gastronomy capital of the region, with more than 5 300 places to eat. - Mandy Watson
