Do you really need to go to film school to be a film maker? May be yes and may be no. Most successful film director never have been to film school. Most successful film production investor know nothing about film making. They just enter the market and engage best director to run the show. But even if got a degree in film making, theres no guarantee you become a film maker. You might be in dept paying back your loan and have to find other job available. My conclusion, dont deter yourself from becoming a film maker if you are ambitious just because you never been to film school.
