Do you remember I couple of weeks ago I was invited to talk about Social Media at My Dawson College to a group of students?... I want to share something with you from that experience... Among the things I told the students that day was that they should try to open a facebook page with a project, any project, even an imaginary project or something they dream of doing in the future... just to learn how to use this tool and to get experience on how to engage and communicate through it... That same day one of the students wrote me to show me the facebook page he opened for the business of his family and to my surprise THIS IS MY FAVORITE PLACE IN CHINA TOWN!!! Dragons Beard Candy !!!!! This is a small little place in the heart of China Town - Montreal where they make traditional Chinese desserts!!! The most famous one is the Dragons Beard Candy, it is made out of sugar threads and is wrapped with a mixture of peanut, coconut, sesame and chocolat !!! I LOVE THIS CANDY not only because is delicious but because I´m fascinated about the hand made craft behind of it, the texture is beautiful and now I know that this long lost dessert exist since a long time and it is really rare to find! APPLAUSES TO Karming Chin for making the facebook page for his father!!!! this is a great example of how we can inspire each other!
