Do you remember Lana, our Stellas sister? When we discovered that Lana was in a puppy farm (the same one that Stella had been destined for before she was saved by the skin of her teeth) we pulled out all the stops to get her out of there. When we finally got her into care at LLDR, poor Lana was a mess, both physically and emotionally. I was pretty crook at the time and I was so lucky that a lady called Leanne fell in love with Lana on our facebook page and asked if she could foster her. After meeting Leanne, completing a home/yard check, and seeing how loved (and spoilt) Leannes other dogs were, I agreed that this could be a wonderful thing for Lana. Our precious girl has been in care with Leanne since early August and I have been in regular contact with Leanne for updates as well as assisting with any vet/medical requirements for her skin infections. Not only has Lana improved health-wise but oh my gosh, this girl has blossomed in confidence in absolute leaps and bounds! Lanas new social life now includes meeting new people, going to local markets and playing at the beach! And she loves all of it :) I will be visiting Lana tomorrow and I will also be taking along an adoption contract ... Lana is being officially adopted tomorrow!! Jo xx
