Do you remember Steel Magnolias? The character Shelby was a Type 1 Diabetic. Remember the scene where she freaked out and mom kept saying Drink your juice, Shelby? Well if you dont, here you go. This is actually a decent enough example of a person in insulin shock i.e., having a low blood sugar. They arent all like this but does happen. If youre close to me, you are fortunate that you havent had to endure this with me. I hear its pretty scary. I cant even imagine what its like to live with me lol #lifeofaT1D #diabetesawareness
