Enbridge Energy has announced plans to expand their pipeline, Line 61, which cuts through Wisconsin, carrying a mixture of oil, including toxic tar sands oil. Enbridges track record is very poor. Since 1999, Enbridge has had over 800 oil spills, including a handful in Wisconsin. Ask the DNR to do a full environmental assessment before allowing more fossil fuels to be pumped through Wisconsin. The comment deadline is tomorrow, May 18.
