Do you remember the old bridge on Grapevine Road? As a boy, my friends and I (Jack) used to stand on it, when a steam engine would pass underneath, and get showered with soot and cinders. The pavement would move up and down every time a car passed over it. In 1944, my (Jack) Grandfather moved two old houses over that bridge, on the backs of two 2-ton trucks. One truck was going forward, while the other one went in reverse, all the way from Sunlight Mines, to just west of the bridge.
