Do you support Lake Sumter State College? I know we do, it is unfortunate that the Executive Director of Foundation/Institutional Advancement has supported a position that places nearly 3,000 potential LSSC students in danger as they dodge cars to get to school. We have agreed to support a boycott of all foundation events (I sure will miss the Gala this year!!) until Rosanne Brandeburg vows to fight to reinstate busing within our entire district, and supports a measure to eliminate pay for elected school board members. We ask our supporters to call Lake Sumter State College, and tell Ms. Brandeburg that you will no longer support the LSSC foundation until the school board stops forcing our children walk through hazardous areas, simply to attend school.
