Do you think it is right if a band loses a member due to death to replace that member so that the band can go on? Do you think it is alright to replace a member if a member quits the band and leaves on his own? What are some of your favorite bands that have had a famous member die/leave and went on to continue to be successful? Do you really dislike any bands that have replaced a member, and you feel they are not worth listening to anymore? I know a lot of bands have done this for whatever their reasons and for a lot of them it worked out, but other bands tried it as well and bombed. While for Led Zeppelin, losing Bonham was so heartbreaking to them that they never officially replaced him while remaining Led Zeppelin, they just couldnt. AC/DC lost their lead singer much in the same way as LZ but they did replace their singer and we all know how that turned out LOL He IMO rocks Too!! He is different but he is such a good fit for their sound that it works! Other bands like Judas Priest did the same thing with their singer and they didnt fair nearly as well. And then there is Ozzy who was fired from a band, shortly afterwards he put together another band but remained as a solo act. There is no right or wrong answer, It is interesting how things have worked out for a lot of these musicians!
