Do you think of the bigger picture? Or do you struggle thinking in that moment. This morning, I had to remind myself to think of the bigger picture. Im not as lean as I was 2 months ago, and I had to take a break 4 minutes EARLIER during this mornings workout, than I did on Thursday! I had to remind myself that this is a big picture thing. Not every day is going to be perfect (or any day for that matter). Im going to have days where Im more tired, days when I ate too much cookie dough (Sunday), days or maybe weeks or months when Im not at my best. Sometimes Im going to be a few lbs up. Sometimes I am going to be a few lbs down. Dont get caught up in the little things. This journey isnt about perfection. Its about improvement and progression! One bad day of eating crap isnt failure. The key is how fast you jump back on! So the fact that I needed a break sooner today than I did during my last workout isnt important. Whats important is that over time, I improve. Not overnight!!
