Fell for this song in January, after hearing it two/ three times on the radio. I think part of the reason it was such a huge hit worldwide was the decision for the lead singer to stick with his native accent. The way he (mis)pronounces Lost made it stand out in everybodys brains/ on the radio. Geek trivia (thanks, Riedwaan): Did you know the lead singer of Bastille, Dan Smith, has South African parents? On one of their albums/ EPs he did a song called Durban Skies which is said to be dedicated to them.
