Do you use medication at all for yourself/your loved one? What medication and why? Was it a difficult decision? We use Melatonin at times with Melon, she has a separate diagnosis of sleep disorder alongside her autism diagnosis, and the melatonin helps her, some days anyway, to get a full nights sleep. She doesnt appear to have any sedating after effects the next day. It wasnt an easy decision, to start using the medication, but when we started using it last year the sleep disturbance had virtually bought our household to its knees, and it was seriously hampering Melons ability to concentrate and participate in school. Id love to hear your experiences with medication.
