At a time when the coalition governments spending cuts are having a devastating impact and the fat cats are getting fatter, Boris wants to use water cannons to control protests relating to ongoing and potential future austerity measures. Water cannons can cause serious injury and will serve to deter people from showing public resistance to injustice for fears of safety.
