Do you want to be a “Partner in Education”? This is your chance to bring about change! Meeting in English for those interested (lecture and discussion)- Thursday January 4th 20:30 רחוב הברזל 26 א, רמת החייל, תל-אביב What are “Partners in Education”?, An initiative of The Center for Israeli Education (CIE), Partners in Education are Ambassadors for change, including educational leaders, parents, teachers, students, and concerned community members who are ready to work together in order to affect positive influence in and around our schools. The partners receive the tools to bring about change, share information and ideas, and work towards long-term goals as a group. Dreamers? All of us dream of a school where our children happily go, and return home bursting with enthusiasm to tell us how interesting school was and how much they learned. Together, working with mutual responsibility and respect for everyone involved in the educational process, we can create schools with unique identities, an atmosphere of learning and of mutual respect. When we work together our chances to attain these goals rises. Partnership is the keyword for success, not involvement and not intervention. The Program: The program will include a lecture by Founder and Director of the Center for Israeli Education (CIE) Oren Yehi Shalom, followed by a joint discussion. We will discuss the principles of successful schools throughout the world, how change can be made specifically in Israel, and how we can work together as a group to achieve our desired changes. The Partners in Education initiative is part of the greater initiative “Partners for Change in Education” which includes leading educational institutions and organizations in Israel. The Center for Israeli Education (CIE) The Center for Israeli Education (CIE) is a non-profit social movement that has been actively promoting educational transformation since 1999. CIE is leading change in the field with demonstrated success through its work in dozens of schools in the Jewish and Arab sectors. Today, CIE is involved in 85 schools through a broad range of functions and programs and is supported by economic an educational leaders in Israel.
