Do you want to know why the worlds problems will never be solved? There are too many stupid people. By stupid I dont mean uneducated. I mean they have no common sense. Here in NYC there is a beautiful bike and pedestrian path that runs along the Hudson river. It is divided into two lanes. One for people on foot and one for people on wheels. To make it easy to follow there are pictures of people painted on the ground delineating the appropriate lanes. Despite this, runners and pedestrians use the bike lane. Even if they are somehow oblivious to the markings initially, they also remain oblivious to the dangerous conditions they create as they use the bike lanes sometimes three across. The worlds problems encapsulated that simply.
