Do you want to trim your waistline or improve your health? - TopicsExpress

Do you want to trim your waistline or improve your health? Heres my short and personal story about how it can be done In the beginning of my journey online, I was the food/fitness/lifestyle guy. The previous years as a trainer, I had been so passionate about the diet/fitness, I wanted everyone to feel what I felt. Then, after about 6 months, I realised that unless I could help people become happier, no amount of fixing diet or exercise routines would work. What people do with the diet and exercise lifestyle is very dependent upon how happy they are or how happy they want to become. If on an authentic level, someone likes who they are and has a positive view on the world, eating healthily and exercising are just a natural part of that evolution. Truly happy people dont need food for comfort. So for me, it came back to happiness. If I could make people see their world in a better light, then, over time, improving their diet would just be the next natural stage in that evolution. If youve been struggling to lose weight because youre eating the wrong foods, then rather than look at what diet you can go on, change your mindset and become happier first. If you feel good inside because youre grateful to be alive, accept your life for what it is and live in the present moment (not worrying about the future), choosing good food for you and your body is simple because there are no spiritual gaps. Food is not needed as much because you are connected with your soul. This inevitably leads to better energy which inevitably leads to a curiosity to exercise. Over time, the person who stepped in to authentic happiness also stepped in to better eating patterns and eventually saw how important exercise would be for feeling well. Im not going to lie to you. I used to overeat. I did it because I used to get so stressed out in my day that I used food as a release. Now that Im more chilled out, calm, happy and in control of my thoughts and feelings, I dont have the need for food I once did. Now, when I eat rich foods, I eat them slowly, mindfully, soulfully, because Im a happy person. Next time you eat a meal or buy a treat - eat it with your heart, your soul, your senses.. as well as your mouth. Food is about balance and moderation and it is people who dont need it for comfort who are most likely to stick to that rule. Practice happiness and the rest will take care of its self Will (dog walker, surfer, still eats loads of rich foods but knows when to stop now)
