Do young people have a role in shaping the politics of our country? Do political parties and labour movements make room for the effective participation of young people or are these structures occupied by the “elders” who refuse to pave the path for the second layer of leadership? Why should young people join a union and what can unions do for young workers? Is the tri-partheid alliance functional and benefiting young worker? He will be talking to us about the NUMSA position on the development of young workers and what the Union is doing to develop the young leaders.
