Doctor Coxs Saturday Surgery. Welcome once again to Doctor Coxs Saturday Surgery. I hope January isnt too bleak and depressing for you after all the fun and frolics of the festive season and new year. Today Doctor Cox is going to be looking into the prickly subject of itchy testicles. Well, to begin with, itchy testicles isnt actually the issue, because the testicles dont itch, its the scrotum that actually itches, (the nut-sack to the non-medical establishment). It may be embarrassing to share your concerns about your uncomfortable itches in your gentleman garden, but more often than not, the cause of scrotal itching can be easily treated. Fungal infections are common causes of scrotal itching. Sweaty groins are the ideal place for fungus infections to flourish, especially in the summer, when the weather is sweatier than a Bolivian bicycle riders jock-strap. Irritating bathroom products such as shower gels and some soaps can be a problem as well for people with sensitive skin. Of course, crab-lice can be pesky little blighters too, if they decide to nest in your curly-wurly crotch perm. Scrotal itching can also be a sign of a yeast infection. Regular yeast infections are a sign of type 2 diabetes. It could be a sign that your glucose levels are too high. Other signs of diabetes are fatigue, dizziness, blurred vision, slow healing scabs or wounds, nausea and an unquenchable thirst for water or fizzy drinks. Well, next time you see a gentleman furiously scratching his private parts, dont just imagine that hes playing pocket billiards, the poor fellow may have a scrotal yeast infection or the onset of diabetes. Doctor Cox sometimes scratches his testicles, especially after theyve been emptied and theyre filling up again. Doctor Cox is in very good health though and very much looking forward to the springtime when he can transmogrify into another of his alter-egos- Percy Tit-Wank- gardener and pumpkin grower extraordinaire. Yes, I will soon be writing a weekly gardening feature to take you on a journey through the changing seasons. A bit like Springwatch, but with naughty bits. Tune into the last edition of Doctor Coxs Saturday Surgery next week. As always, Doctor Cox looks forward to reading your letters and comments. Have a great day. Its a beautiful day and Doctor Cox is going to Stamford later. Kind Regards, Doctor Cox.
