Document Control Officer HumanJobs - Kimberley, Northern Cape Koffiefontein Mine JV is based in the town of Koffiefontein, located 100km from Kimberley and 136km from Bloemfontein.Document Control OfficerThe incumbent will be responsible to assist the Mine Secretary in the coordination of the secretarial services functions on the Mine. This will include record management processes for all controlled governance documentation on site.Tasks and responsibilities: • Administer legal appointments and insurance matters• Develop and accurately manage documentation databases• Control the updating and storage of the Mine’s forms, policies and procedures• Generate month-end reports• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards and ensure adherence to Safety, Security, SHE and Company policies, procedures and legal requirements• Ensure ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 requirements regarding document management are adhered to• Assist with internal and external audits, if required, and address audit findings where applicable• Manage file and document deposits on the Company’s website.Minimum requirements: • Grade 12• Secretarial or Administrative Diploma• 3 years’ office administration/document control experience• Proven computer literacy in MS Office Suite – Intermediate Word and Excel are essential• Valid driver’s licence (Code 08/EB).Other skills/competencies: • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) in English• Report-writing skills• Strong organisational skills (planning, coordinating and prioritising)• Sense of accuracy and attention to detail• Customer relations - ability to deal at all levels in the organisation and with external customers• Motivated self-starter with high energy levels, action oriented and ability to follow through to completion• Knowledge of ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 standards will be an advantage.Ref.
