Doda Police Solved a cheating /rape case. Doda police have apprehended one Noor Mohd S/O Mohd Akbar R/O Amritgarh (Chanyas) form Shimla Himachal Pardesh where he has gone into hiding after his name figured in case FIR No 114/2013 U/S 420/376 RPC of P/S Doda which pertains to luring of innocent young poor girls with the pretext of providing them Jobs/Perks and subsequently molesting them. As per investigation conducted in to the matter, the said Noor Mohd lured about 7-8 girls of Thathri area belonging to poor families with the pretext of providing them monetary benefits and motivated them to come to Doda for some documentary work in this regard. However, some of the girls after signing some document went to their respective homes on single day by praying him some fees, whereas others were told by him to stay for some more documentation. They were kept by him at hotel in Doda, where he committed rape with them for two days. The girl victims have deposed against the culprits before Hon’ble Court/Doda Police. The girls were also got medically examined. The identification parade of accused was also conducted. The investigation of the case is going on and the role of any other person to have assisted or abetted the commission of offence is being ascertained. The main modus-operandi of accused which has come to fore during investigations was to lure only young girls, cheat them monetarily and also molest them.
