Dodo has to be the worst broadband internet I have experienced. Here is the letter of complaint I have just sent them... Hello I am writing on behalf of my mother Ms Xxxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxx, username: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx phone number: xx xxxx xxxxx plan: ADSL2+ UNLIMITED Regional I am an authorised person on her account. For as long as we have been with Dodo our service has suffered repeated dropouts on most days. Sometimes these dropouts are as short as a few seconds, sometimes minutes or approaching an hour. Sometimes re-starting the modem via the web interface re-establishishes the connection, sometimes not. Sometimes re-starting the modem by disconnecting & reconnecting the power re-establishishes the connection, sometimes not. Over the past 4 years we have had broadband services with Telstra & another ISP while living at much greater distances from the exchange & did not experience problems like these. This matter has been the subject of many tech support calls by me. On two of those I was told I would be called after testing by your technicians. In both cases we did not get the promised call. While this problem persists we are not getting the service my mother is paying for. On that account I believe my mother deserves a partial refund for the service paid for so far & discounting on future service until we can be assured of consistently getting the promised service. If this matter cannot be satisfactorily resolved my next communication will be with ACMA & the Telecommunications Ombudsman. Regards, Pedro Plowman
