Dodos eyes dimmed. Her mind swirled up another place another time. This was the vast Australian sky the land of the koalas. Kokulu was back in his land of the koalas. Dodo stepped out with Kokulu in her arms. It was a dark velvet night sky. The stars glittered like silver blue diamonds. Big ones little ones clear as a crystal along the dark expansive sky. A moon glimmered silent swaddled in silver white petticoats of an eerie blankness. Dodo looked up hugging Kokulu in her arms. In an instant Kokulu smiled it was as if a million star bursts burst forth. He said, look Dodo tar/star, look mun/moon. Dodo looked in amazement as Kokulu was all but a year old. How well Kokulu knew his moon sign, after all his name was Saum. The moon. And The galaxy of the Milky Way. A bat huge as a monstrous umbrella flapped past. An owl hooted dulcet hoots. A bird squawked irritably. And a possum scurried scratching all the stones and dry leaves. Kokulus eyes gleamed glowed like jewels in a crown. And he said, Dodo shshhh!!! montar/monster alsho comin.
