Does ANYONE remember when theses guys opened for JR Walker at the Mosque? 1971(?)-- talk about tearing the roof off the sucker---They were absolutely unknowns & came out one at a time in African garb after each threw a spear at a target from off stage. You could have heard a pin drop. Drummer, then bass player, B3, guitar etc.... All of them were political misfits from various countries. One of the best shows I ever witnessed.
