Does Freedom Of Speech Mean War With Islam ? I am really confused this morning and flabbergasted at the same time. After all the tragic events of last week, Charlie Hebdo, The French Satirical News Paper again DECIDES to print an offensive sketch of Prophet Muhammad SAWS. I as a Muslim am offended, but that does not mean i want to go and harm someone BUT many in this crazy world of misguided religious feelings WILL FEEL otherwise. My question to the world is... Does freedom of speech mean offending the Prophet of a religion that IS ALMOST REPRESENTING 25% OF THE WORLD POPULATION ? If some misguided souls have taken Islam and spread hatred, do they represent Prophet Muhammad SAWS ? The Answer is NO. NO and NO AGAIN. And since that is the case, then please draw Cartoons of those individuals who are misguided not the heavenly sent Prophet. Freedom of speech and igniting feelings of being offended have a very thin line. If one feels that a President of a country who only represents THAT COUNTRYS POPULATION, is a bad person and a maniacal war monger and if you go up to that President and say that I FEEL LIKE KILLING YOU, You will be immediately arrested and thrown in jail for threatening to kill the President. You can scream all you want in court that ITS MY RIGHT TO EXPRESSING MY FEELINGS but you will be convicted for expressing your feelings not having even committed the ACT. Freedom of speech does not mean saying whatever YOU FEEL in your head, crossing the norms of society, decency and morality. This crazy behaviour from both sides, the fanatical extremists and the SO CALLED PSEUDO and CONFUSED Torch Bearers of FREEDOM OF SPEECH will do nothing but further polarize the world and eventually bring immense feelings of hatred amongst the Muslims And Christians And The Jewish Population of Peaceful countries. Maybe that is the eventual plan...Maybe. I do not know. I just am worried seeing the world i will be leaving behind for our children... A world full of hatred, division and confusion.
