Does #Hamas hide behind civilians? Just like any other popular resistance movement, Hamas fights the occupying forces from within the occupied land, namely #Gaza. Which is 139 sq mi and has a population of more than 1.8M, leading to a population density of 13,000 people per square mile. So, no matter where resistance fighters stand, they will be in a civilian area. Regardless, this argument is irrelevant to the situation in Gaza. When an occupying army invades peoples home and land, the people have every right to defend themselves. Most importantly, we shouldnt encourage these arguments as they are made to steer us away from root problem: the occupation. Bottom line: if there is no occupation, there will be no resistance.
