Does Richie Incognito Discriminate? Isn’t it obvious that the discrimination complaints against Miami Dolphins’ offensive lineman Richie Incognito aren’t true? If he takes on all kinds of people wherever he goes --- including opponents, teammates, coaches and fans --- isn’t he non-discriminatory? In addition, isn’t an offensive lineman supposed to be offensive? BTW, he also received the 2009 Sporting News NFL Dirtiest Player Award. So aren’t huge numbers of people just jealous of his superior skill? nfl/news/story/0ap2000000276563/article/richie-incognito-directed-racial-slur-at-jonathan-martin usatoday/story/sports/nfl/2013/11/05/incognito-bully-accusations-nebraska-freshman/3439819/ P.S. Per Wikipedia, he also received The Good Guy Award that is given by the Pro Football Writers Association in each NFL city to the player(s) who best helps the media do its job. In the 2012 season, Incognito was awarded this honor by the South Florida Chapter of the Pro Football Writers Association, alongside teammate Reggie Bush. OK, he did have an out of character experience in 2012, but everybody falls from grace at least once in a while. AND he did it incognito, so it shouldn’t count against him. ------------------------------ Al, The Plumber of the Depths of Lunacy
