Does any one remember the helicopter that was supposed to land at Langehagen barracks and we were on parade, a cpl who I wont name had been told about a week prior to its arrival that he would be marshalling it in and to read up on hand signals etc to guide it in.On the day we were all waiting and the guiding marshall was in place,when suddenly and I think it may have been Kev Thornley came round the corner with a hand held helicopter making helicopter engine noises to be guided in.sorry but I just rememberd it and thought it was funny even though un named cpl did not.How mature were we then.
