Does anyone else have a finicky eater and a hard keeper?! Every year around this time the horse I lease stops eating whatever grain we are feeding and refuses to eat grain and only nibbles on hay. He also is very picky on what he eats, he wont eat any powder, liquid, and the list continues. Hes currently on ultium but decided he does not want it any more. Last year it was the same problem with ultimate finish. He has a history of colic and ulcers and is very sensitive. He has been seen by two vets and is now on a supplement that has stopped the ulcer discomfort and colic! Everything has been done for prevention like blood tests, fecal and everyone is now stumped. Anyone have any ideas on what the next step could be to gain an appetite for grain again? No rude comments please. Thanks!
