Does anyone else here have a NIOV by Breathe Technologies? I got mine in July and thought it was my salvation but I have gone downhill so bad lately that even with it I just cant seem to walk more than a few feet at a time. It does allow me to stand in the kitchen and cook without as much shortness of breath though. Just wondering how others are doing with it. EDIT: i just did a search and see that there is only one comment about the ventilator and it is just says they find it interesting. I was given a test run on this tiny vent back at the end of May. I could walk easily when using it, compared to the 45 seconds I lasted for the 6 min. Walk test Id just tried to do. I was able to walk for 6 minutes with no shortness of breath! Now, sadly, It is helping less and less and I am pretty much stuck in my wheelchair but I am hoping they get it to the point of being able to be used with a concentrator rather than with tanks. At that point I will probably use it 24/7.
