Does anyone else remember this? When I saw one of the Star Trek - TopicsExpress

Does anyone else remember this? When I saw one of the Star Trek TOS films in the theater, BY DATE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ST4, the opening was a dedication. NOT WRITTEN on the screen like a title, but on a plaque. It was a bronze plaque that said something like Dedicated to the crew of the space shuttle Challenger, who gave their lives... But then crowd sounds came up, and the camera slowly pulled back to reveal that the plaque was on a monument of the crew and ship, this was a monument in Star Fleet headquarters, and personnel were passing by it. The camera then follows and focuses on two people having a conversation, and the film opens. I clearly remember this, but cannot find it. Someone told me they remember it as well, but that there were several cuts of many films, and this one is lost. I thought that was the coolest opening ever. It really touched me at the time. Anybody else recall it or know where it can be found?
