Does anyone have rats AND mice? I work at a pet store chain and there is a mouse in the feeder bin that has stolen my heart. I want to rescue him (I asked the other employees to please spare him when they have to get a feeder mouse for a customer) and I still have to get a suitable cage, so it will be maybe a week before I can take him home. (Ill probably get him a companion mouse as well). But, can I keep my rat and mouse cage in the same room? My rats are females and very sweet - they have even been introduced to a hamster, and although he wasnt very pleased to meet them, my girls were polite little ladies with perfect manners...
