Does anyone have recommendations on how to develop IEP goals to increase literacy? Getting information from & back in to text is difficult for my son. He tests within an acceptable limit based on cognitive levels, but its his weak point & brings down his overall IQ. My hope is if this is addressed properly, he wont struggle so much in the ever increasing text-heavy school years (middle school soon) & assistive technology wont be needed. Right now my approach has been asking about programs like Dragon to help him write, but he can benefit from better absorption of text.
