Does anyone know of a local vet who would make a house call on a weekend to help an old faithful friend, my dog move on to the other side? Possum, my old faithful dog of 18 years cannot be picked up or moved, its too painful for her. Shes never left the farm and Id like to find a vet who would not make me make her last hours here on this earth painful or fearful. My usual vet is on vacation and its time.. Unfortunately its the weekend, and all vets Ive called wont come on the weekend and their offices are closed.;o/ It seems if youre not a client, or even if you are, compassion only extends to Fridays and starts up again on Mondays.;o/ Shell have to suffer on till Monday I guess and Ill cry a lot and make her as comfortable as possible. Thanks so much for all your kind words and help. This is so hard seeing a friend suffer...
