Does anyone know the exact plan with the tunnel being built for foot traffic at park ave? I think it will help connect the business area with lilac park, the library as well as giving easier access to both sides of the tracks to commuters. I would love to see park ave from Saint Charles to the tracks be a large walk way with no vehicle traffic ( access for vehicles only running east & west on McGuire) and maybe bricked or something that is pleasing to the eye, park benches, water fountain ect.. To encourage more foot traffic and visitors from other towns that would have great easy access to our specialty shops and dining & drinking, oh yea and hair salons lol
