Does anyone know who monitors and checks for possible fraud relating to the so-called competitions run in association with many leading TV programmes. I refer to the bizarre three-silly-question events in which viewers are encouraged to phone in with their answer. Big holiday and other prizes to be won! It all stinks of big scambo. Perhaps Mr Watson, the MP who has worked nobly to expose child abuse in high places, will soon be able to turn a spotlight on how these raffles work, how much they make for the sponsors, and who, if anyone, actually wins a prize.
