Does anyone remember Airwolf? Recall that moment on several episodes when Stringfellow Hawke (Jan-Michael Vincent) would sit on the edge of his dock, far away from the cares and woes of other people, and play his cello? He was calling to the hawk in the skies above to come to him. Whenever I hear this version of Pink Floyds classic song for their friend, Syd Barrett, I think of that image. Prime time television wasnt all glop.
