Does anyone remember Walt & Ruths grocery store on W. Front st., next to Petes Ice House just before Telegraph Rd.?? My mom & dad were Walt & Ruth. Al Cappacelli (spelling), former mayor, was our meat cutter. We were there only for a couple years like 59 thru 61 or so. Dad then went back to Monroe Eve. News as a linotype operator. He had diabetes and the store was too much work for him. Great memories were made there. Miss Mom & Dad.
