Does anyone remember going to the lunch time discos in, I think it was the Maryland or maestros and the Radio one club in the Electric Gardens.We had to change in the school toilets and try to sneak back in to class late. Dot Lynaghs dad worked for the BBC and used to let us in the back door, so we got to see a lot of the big named groups of the day like Marmalade and Black Sabbath. The nuns eventually cottoned on as to why so many were late for classes on a Friday and banned us from going, but did that stop us...not a chance!..I remember a few of us getting chased down Sauchiehall street by Sister Camillus, her habit flying in the wind and shouting You Girls!..stop right now..God that woman could run..but not quite fast enough!!..lol.
