Does anyone remember the insulting Citroen D3 advertisement which aired four years ago? You know, the one in which they played a VERY poorly overdubbed clip of John Lennon (with said dub bearing a modern scouse accent, rather than the classic scouse accent Lennon spoke, and the only variant of scouse I actually find incredibly pleasing to listen to)? Well, today -- out of sheer boredom -- I made a parody of that commercial by echoing the same statement from the original in a bad scouse/north-west accent over a video I produced in 2008. As some may be aware, there were actually two versions of the advertisement. Aside from a different actor performing the dub, the ads are identical. This is supposed to be a skit of version 1. Enjoy!
