Does anyone still have a landline? We stopped using ours, removed voice mail and turned off the ringer ages ago. We kept it mostly in case the power turned off which tends to affect cell phone coverage where we live. Now were thinking its time to just disconnect completely. People who stay in touch know our cell phones (or can contact me here) so there seems little reason to have it. The few times Ive answered (seeing the phone light up when I walk by) its usually something weird like a bill collector looking for someone with a similar name. Um, no, never heard of this person. Why are you calling here? *Face-palm* Ill tell you one thing though. Its such a relief to not have the phone ringing constantly with political robo calls! Or finding similar pointless messages on our voice mail. As a side note, if any of my friends have wondered why I never answer my phone or have voice mail, you really need to get my current number! *heh* (y)
