Does anyone want to come with me to the Broadmeadows Refuge Detention Centre next Monday? I went tonight for the first time and met some of the refugees and had the privilege of listening to their brave stories. Seth played with the children in detention. Its one thing to hear about the situation and another to actually meet these people, to meet their children. They dont know what their future holds, will they be sent back to Christmas Island? or worse still Naru? Will they be sent back to their home land? Really puts our first world problems into perspective!! Im trying to expose Seth to humanitarianism and justice and I want to empower him to know that it is possible to make a difference, even if its just a small one. Anyhow, Im going to try and make it there most Mondays so if you want to come with and show your support that would be really cool xx
