Does everything happen for a reason? Was it cause and effect OR sowing and reaping? Was it just chance or coincidence OR the providence of God? Paul said, “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life” (Galatians 6:7–8). “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).
