Does it frustrate anyone else that its extremely popular and almost normal to depict the average American family as bored, distant, and unhappy in movies and TV shows, and that it goes even further as an attempt to be presented as comedy? I understand that this type of family situation is very possible, but I also understand that with the majority population thats represented in movies and on tv, the alternative is just as possible. I say, in the most realistic way possible, considering all factors, that I certainly dont accept that as funny or as something thats bound to happen. I dont have those plans for my future life and I dont plan on allowing that stereotype to describe it either....Just saying. Lol
