Does it look like the closure of the Adomi Bridge for repair works to be done on the weak bridge and the creation of alternative means of crossing and other alternative routes to Ho and its surrounding areas was going to be a smooth thing? We want good roads but the repair of such roads or the building of new roads, will by all measure, create traffic and discomfiture along such roads. Even in our own house or room any time we need to make some repair works, we see the discomfort we have to go through. So what is the big deal about the traffic at that route? We should stop complaining and learn to appreciate that the ultimate is that the bridge would be solid, our roads would be smooth and we can have our peace of mind. Those fanning tribal sentiments into the matter should tone down and leave the tribal matters out of it. My appeal to the Police, Road Transport, the District/Municipal Assembly and other relevant agencies is that they would put extra measures in place to ensure the safety of all those who ply that route and to ensure that the discomfiture is at its minimal.
