Does it make sense that Syria would suddenly gas innocent civilians in view that it appears Syria is gaining the upper hand against the rebels? Knowing that the global community would come down on the side of the rebels makes no strategic sense at all. On the other hand the rebels would have everything to gain by such an attack in order to provoke military intervention. My money says it was the rebels who made the chemical attack.
