Does the US have ANY leverage with Saudi Arabia to impress upon them the need to STOP funding HAMAS? Gulf States - A considerable proportion of the aforementioned funds originate from various sources in the Gulf States (The Gulf Cooperation Council States). Most of the funding is from Saudi Arabian sources, with a total value of $12 million a year. 12 million a year is a good chunk of change. Why doesnt the US exercise its muscle and BOYCOTT all things Saudi. Freeze their bank accounts and asserts? It has been very well documented the House O Saud runs an oppressive shop not to big on human rights. Or is it because Saudi Arabia has the oil reserves, they call the shots?
