Does the release of this report address any new issues that havent been released prior to this? No it does not. Does release of this report add value to our diplomatic efforts, military operations abroad, or information operations domestically or abroad? No. Some intelligence analyst believe it risks security to US personnel and installations overseas. Others aren t convinced. However, it will cause conflict with allies who supported the United States when we needed them most. It will give our enemies material for propaganda, recruitment, and to bolster their information operations world-wide. In a war such as this, dominating the information domain, the sphere of greatest influence in an ideological war, is deeply disturbing. In short it doesnt add value but does have consequences.
